Bikram is supposed to have wonderful effects on people with high blood pressure. It is believed to normalize blood pressure over time, making it an excellent alternative to drugs. However, caution is advised when people suffer from high blood pressure when practicing hot yoga.

Bikram tends to normalize hypertension within two weeks of exercise. People suffer from high blood pressure when the arteries become smaller, resulting in increased pressure. The above articles must be done with a specific breathing technique called Anuloma Viloma, also referred to as an alternative nostril breathing technique. This type of breathing requires you to breathe through one nostril, hold your breath for a few seconds, and exhale through the other.
